FST needs IRC?

i was thinking about how great it would be to have an irc chan for the different fst sections. my msn list is getting way to long and i cant keep track of all my contacts. moreover that would take the barrier of all the different chat clients. not to mention all the other advantages an irc chan has.

what do u think?
