well if i had to say one it would be George Best - not just because he was from where i (used!) to live. But he was the best at his game - and even Pele said he was a better player than him. I suppose any man would say that but well i think he was right.
He had unbelievable skill and a class that surpassed all other players of his time.

His embarrassment surrounding alcohol is very very sad, though.

My fav sporting person is Clint Mathis, why, well because he has an amzing talent, and he just goes 2 prove the US r not shit at Soccer .. (I know it's football)

Well my hero is Ian Healy (australian cricketer)...

but my other fav sportsmen are..

Craig Moore (Socceroo Defender)
Brett Emerton (Socceroo Midfeilder)
Harry Kewel (LIVERPOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and Socceroo Midfielder/Attacker)
