SO I want to use a cretin picture as an avatar but its too big. every time I try to resize it I lose so much quality...
is there a software out the that can help me with this...
also I see lots of moving avatars, how is this done?

Hi Gish !

I guess that you are using MS Paint for resizeing. You should try PSP or Photoshop. They have better image rendering engine but think that every large image will losse much when it is smaller. Of course you can try this nice app :
