Vodka and the soft drink of your choice, add more fizzy pop if you don't like the taste. The more you drink the less fizzy pop you'll have to add, you'll be a pro in no time. It's pretty cheap and you don't need that much, but try not to over do it.

Do not drink baileys, not even as a chaser with a pint of lager, unless you are a girl.

What kind of alcohol are you looking for? How strong can it be?

If you're into liqueurs, I can recommend an excellent south african cream liqueur called Amarula.
If you're looking for something stronger and can handle a vodka, you may have a hard time finding a tasty one. I think the main purpose in vodka is to make you as drunk as possible in as little time as possible. I would consider a good vodka as one that can accomplish that goal without tasting awful. Having said that, I did find a couple of nice tasting vodkas. If you're willing to experiment, there's a nice polish vodka called Zubrówka, which has a distinct aroma added to it by grass (the real thing, not marijuana) in the production process.
I'll drink almost any red wine and don't really like whiskey, so can't really help you there.

Seriously, I can't understand people who say that beer tastes good. I'm a beer drinker - not necessarily a heavy drinker, but I can handle beer and drink it oftenly. Now, I've had this conversation multiple times with friends and we all came to the same conclusion: beer doesn't taste good. I don't know anyone that can honestly say that they liked beer the first time they drank it. I remember the first time I tasted beer all I thought was "what's this shitty bitter thing I'm drinking?"

Beer doesn't taste good, it just "grows" on you, until you get accustomed to drinking it. It's just another way to get alcohol flowing through your bloodstream.

because i dont like to keep drinking loads of crappy tasting beer to get drunk . i cant even drink water that much :sick:

so yea i will try vodka mixed with some soft drinks

and when i get used to that i will try more cocktails

Anyone who says that there is no such thing as a beer which tastes good is a burd or a gaylord. Also probably a lager drinker and an American.

Go to Holland or Belgium there's like a brazilion beers to chose from and a huge variety of tastes and strengths. There's loads in the UK as well, but the variety in the low countries is just awesome.
