Can PM Conversation be monitored at IRC

Just wanna confirm one thing quicky. Can a PM conversation between two people be monitored at an IRC ?

Its PM and not in main window..

Yeah its possible for an a network admin to do if they really want to. If you really want to be on the safe side then you and the person youre speaking to should both use FiSH

dcc chat for something private. yes it can be monitored but i've never seen it happen.

I think they can see logs if they want to . I dont think they can monitor it in real time.
And I think its impossible to monitor DCC CHAT .
Not 100% sure tho

Unfortunately theres been a module available for UnrealIRCd for ages that allows an admin to spy on pms in real time.

Well this just proves that you need protection even if you practice s*x on line :D
Hope she was worth it, I know that no one wants a admin with relationship issues on his tail :D I'd run for teh hills :yup:

The irc net admin can read the logs, fish helps but it can be broken

I was banned at a tracker for no reason.. Mod said i had dupe account, when i told i have dynamic IP , he ruled it as a stupid reply and said he wont unban me

So me and my friend were actually badmouthing him in PMs... and so now am pretty sure i am not getting my account back

I once ran a ircd, i couldn't read pms, but it's pretty easy to code something to read them..

Explained my situation to him and he readily overturned my ban :)
