lol. :P

Winamp makes playlists. easy to do and quite fast.

I searched for "m3u tool" in yahoo and the first result was this M3U Here (http://www.saltstorm.net/depo/m3uhere/?pod=js)

It uses a small script to generate a playlist, when you right click on a Folder with music in it and select "M3U Here".

I installed and tested it, Norton picked up on it because it's a script, but it's not malicious as far as i can tell. It does what it says, so if it's small playlists you want, for certain folders, then it's ideal.

there may be better one's available, have a look yourself.

along the same lines....
If anyone knows of an app that can burn directly from a playlist - in the order of the playlist- please let me know.

and TClite, I use a little program called DioneSS Playlist Editor. You can just use it to open files and add them
to a playlist, edit a playlist, etc. I don't know where I got it. I've tried a bunch of em.

yo sparsely, if you use winamp 2.9xx you can get this thing. I think someone on this board suggested it, but i may be wrong.

It copies the current playlist to a specific folder, meaning you can fire up Nero or whatever, and just go straight to that folder. You have to delete the mp3's afterwards, but thats not a big deal when it has saved you the hassle of looking through various folders to find each file.

Gen Yar Playlist Copier (http://bcheck.arsware.org/#gen_yar)

you may have to scroll down a few programs on that page to find it.

I use Tag and Rename.

All the song in the folder, one click and i got a playlist of the album.
T&R gets them Tags from the net too.

What you are looking for is DioneSS Playlist Editor which creates m3u playlists. Very easy to use and downloadable from their site. Just punch that name into google and you'll find it. :)
