how come trackers have bad search function?

i always get a bunch of useless results when i search for something on a tracker.....even worse sometimes i cant find something that i know is actually there

for most sites it's simply a case of working out how to search. For example instead of searching for prison break you should search for prison_break to get the desired results. Of course, some sites like ScT have revamped the search function so you would have to check there for how to use it.

indeed the search function sometimes suck real bad. but it also depends on how you search

well most of the google search operators dont work on trackers.

VERY SIMPLE, on most trackers put quotes in between ur searches. such as, if your searching for 2 girls 1 cup 1080p you just input "2 girls 1 cup 1080p" In those quotes. It will give u results with that phrase in them only.

sometimes I forget to check the box "search title only" by the search bar, wich will cause multiple unrelated results, such as in RevTT & others, so even if you use " " you will still get unrelated results unless you check the box.

the worst search tracker is possibly TT, if you guys know what im talking about. I mean u log in and see 30000 torrents when u click browse. When u search for something 40000 torrents come up randomly. So don't forget those quotes lol.

Yes, by default searches don't really search for the full phrase you typed in.
If you were looking for 2 girls 1 cup 1080p, by default it would search for
2
girls
1
cup
and
1080p
all separately and then add the results together for you.

The quotes make the search specific for what you're looking for.
