Every torrent site I go to only believes Christians exist. Christmas this and Christmas that. We get it, you love Jesus. It's Hanukkah right now and no one cares. What about all the other holidays?!?!?!

I suppose the site owners are Christian and celebrate Christmas, hence the Christmas themes.

I seriously doubt that the snowy themes and falling e-snowflakes are meant to cause any discontent to other religions.

Start a Hanukkah thread then old bean. Nothing to stop you doing that. Or creating a theme to be used.

Oh and to be fair most of the Christmas threads I have seen are pretty much secular in nature. Really not a lot to do with Jesus.

Is there any entirely commercial and non-religious aspect to Hanukkah.

What's Christmas got to do with Jebus anyways?

It's about presents. Here's one for the OP...

Not a very religious person but I do love christmas. Presents, paid holidays, Christmas lights, candy, weed, christmas trees, more presents, great sales for shopping, see the family, and lots of drinking.

Please be respectful to other people's holidays. It's a Jewish holiday and I don't appreciate when you laugh about it.

What's your current avatar, correct me if I'm wrong but it's intended to represent a murderer.

Remind me, what is it you want people to respect. Is it your belief system or how you chose to portray yourself.

Albeit they may be mutually exclusive.

Christmas I can see a lot of sites saying that. I don't believe most of the sites are thinking we are christians. We are pirates after all, or at least most of us here are.

I believe the politically correct term is "Happy Holidays." Jews, Muslims and some Afrika Korps. or something complained of city decorates that said "Merry Christmas" over the streets downtown.

It has to do with your post that you be say other people, who are quite obviously posting to the light hearted and jokey, am disrespect your religion. When they are in fact having a laugh, on an internet forum.

Are your murderer avatar serious. I think not, I don't think you condone assassination. However are the religion jokes serious, you say yes, when this one clearly wasn't. Given the person, the content and the context

Be serious, or be light hearted. You chose. But the same rules go for everyone else. To be jocular yourself but to deny it to others is not tenable.
