he dint ask if invite hunting was addicitve. even if you are part of a few good sites and take interest in the community you can get addicted there

I like to check my 2 sites (TL & RTT) every hour or 2 and feeling like I am on the inside when I get something that has not been released yet.
and when I wake up and see that a good movie has been release the night before and I did not get a chance to download it, I feel like I have been left behind.

Umm not for me. I use it to get what I need. Make sure I keep my ratio's. That's it. I don't check obviously for new content or try to get access to every tracker. In fact, I'm not really aware of what all is out there. Demonoid was my main source as I'm sure it was for many others. I had Oink, and it is gone now too. I'm left with TL and I'm giving TB a shot. I read something about Waffles.fm? Invite only of course so I doubt I'll be able to give a shot any time soon.

Torrenting is the most addictive thing since the Internet (cable). Love it and it will be here to stay. Doesn't mean i am void of a normal life. Just find it an intriguing hobby and a way to make E friends..lol.

bittorrenting is a life changing experience . 99.9% of us here at FST are addicted to it albeit to varying degrees . some check the torrent sites several times a day , some are spending hours in the various forums , some have the torrent client running 24*7 , some are cheating addicts , some are seeding addicts , some are ratio addicts, a ratio below 10 being bad for them.

so the addiction is not of one type . it varies from person to person and with different intesities . it has the potential of destroying one's social life ....... and career , so everybody should be careful with it . i am working very hard to break free...... but not able to do so , though i have reduced it quite a lot . i no longer run after torrent sites seeking invites and only try to download what i intend to use....... but yeah it has affected my social life . i love it and hate it at the same time
