I use Limewire for music. I'll use torrents and newsgroups for albums, but if I just want 1 song, what do you guys use?

I never want one song...:D I listen to albums mostly and like the idea of concept albums...

You can still use BT for getting only one song, from an album torrent, you select only that song to download...

I let my wife use Limewire, she's into the whole one song thing.
Myself, I prefer downloading the whole album off Usenet. Even if it is for one song

It's all about the entire album in my opinion. Nothing seems to make that easier then a good torrent tracker. Too bad I'm not a member at any these days.

BitTorrent. I like to have the whole album and not just one song. Well, unless it was the artist's intention for you to hear just one song.

I myself like it better to download my music on mp3fiesta.com

You have to pay per songs, but it is cheap and it has all my music selection.

If I want to download an album, i'll just go on torrentreactor and get it, but for single songs, mp3fiesta all the way

I would like the industry to come up with a similar store. Ok, now the prices are very cheap, but I think such stores should be an inspiration for a fair marketing model. Propably they would win less per User, however this way they could have many lucky customers.

Which is the best P2P for music
Limewire / Emule / Bearshare / Ares ??
LimeWire, Ares are good for usual single music files, I also like Morpheus Ultra 5.1 with NeoNet for this task.

eMule is not designed for single MP3 files, it's more for albums and big files. The requests, source management and queuing is built for many big files over long time, not for fast mp3 swapping.

private tracker is the way to go though I like using rs a swell. limewire is convenient but not safe, emule has rare files but slow, and soulseek is underground music

if i want one song, or cant find it anywhere else because the song is rare then i use the open source version of limewire: Frostwire, its the best.

or just use what+libble. really would like a trance tracker but gotta get invited :P

the only bad thing about limewire/frostwire is the freaking quiality, most of the times i see 128 and its horrible. i accept a 192 :); or the .rar viruses or the 230kb viruses with "songname".mp3 :(

It depends on what i download. For music, I use Limewire. For games and software, I use uTorrent.

But if I cant find the song im looking for on Limewire, I use uTorrent or download sites.
