IS it true that they are starting to sue everyone that uses kazaa and kazaa lite? If i disable sharing does that make me not eligible to be caught. Or is this all just fake and they won't start suing.

The RIAA is going after those who are sharing copywritten music. I think you will be safe as long as you check the option where your files are not listed for others to see. You cannot be sued just for using P2P clients such as Kazaa Lite.

Don't worry and share. Screw Peer Guardian. The safest way is not to share popular music (i.e. Avril Lavigne) and the RIAA wont go after you.

I just disableed sharing and also i heard there is this thing IP blocker that lets RIAA not track u., but what i don't get is how they know that u downloaded the songs. I mean what if i just wanted to copy the songs from my cd to my computer?

I am sorry to say this but you are obviously a total lamer and are even too stupid to read the FAQ :rtfaq: or the manual :rtfm: thing that comes with the program. We don't need leechers like you on the network, we need informed people that share their files and help the network grow. If you are so afraid of the RIAA don't use Kazaa or any other P2P program. Why are you posting here anyway, the latest version of Kazaa Lite K++ is almost idiot (n00b) proof. If you don't have the brains to set a check mark in the boxes where it reads "Bloack bad IP ranges e.g. RIAA" or "Users can't get a list of your shared files", then you are too dumb to even use a computer.

Now, go to Kazaa Lite (http://www.kazaalite.tk) and read the damn instructions!
