It's about aliens taking over the earth, until the human race rises as zombies.
or atleast that is what the poster insinuates.

It looks like it has potential.
I'll watch it when I've finished my Dexter

Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB came up with the same score.
So the critics and the public are in agreement on this one.

PLOT

Ruminations on the life of Bob Dylan, where six characters
embody a different aspect of the musician's life and work.

Did this Bob Dylan character lead an interesting life then?

He put the bop in bop-shoo-wop.

Arts scene urban legends

In the 1990s Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics had a recording studio on Crouch Hill. According to legend, he invited Bob Dylan to drop in any time he felt like it. Bob took him up on his offer, but the taxi driver dropped him off on the adjacent Crouch End Hill. Bob knocked on the door of the supposed home of Dave Stewart and asked for Dave. By coincidence, the plumber who lived there was also called Dave. He was told that Dave was out, and would he like to wait and have some tea? Twenty minutes later the plumber returned and asked his wife whether there were any messages. "No", she said, "but Bob Dylan's in the living room having a cup of coffee".

Crikey. Crouch End :pinch:
Why's it named that?
That place sounds mental.

I wouldn't go to crouch end, its full of weirdos in furniture shops... Isn't that where liverpudlians come from?

Watched it last night.

disappointed yet impressed.
It feels like you need to read fifty books on dylan before understanding how precise the director is. A lot of insider information in it.
Hence the director totally does not under estimate the audience. (over estimates me)

It did not pull me in,
except for cate blanchet's role (stoned eccentric) which i guess is what i wanted most of... the cliche revolutionary dylan. Which makes me a noob trend sheep.

Yet the other roles are needed to show the other sides.
In the end it is a very scattered worthy depiction of dylan, as he is and his work.

I fell asleep 3/4 way...

Conceptual Rating - 10 points
Movie Rating - 6 points.
