Fat32 Help!!

well since the file transfer of fat32 files are only 4.5 gigabytes, I need to split my encoded ps3 file MPEG2 1080p, looking for software to split that.

what are you trying to do exactly? backup? transfer to a different computer?

Before you search for a splitter, why don't you look at all your options.

If you have Windows XP, you could convert your File system to NTFS, which is much better than FAT32.

Click on the Start Menu, Run and type CMD and press OK.
In the command line window type
convert drive_letter: /fs:ntfs
You'll be asked if you want to do it after you restart, answer yes.

Restart and wait

I've done this procedures about 20 times and never had any problem

fat32 doesnt recognize the ps3, i just decided to cut the movie into parts using a mpeg splitter thanks for the help, topic close
