why do you have to ask? i get tired of ppl wrinting "is it down" basicly: if you cant access the site then there always are an errormessage. this error message simply explains if it's a 404 or a 403. if it's 404 then they error message will say "timeout" which means that it's down. and if it's 403 it will say: permission denied which means that you are baned.

Personally, when a site goes down... it is easier for me to visit their irc channel to hear it from the horses mouth. That way more or less you are informed of the problem and how long the anticipate until they problem is resolved.

yea that i correct, but the problem is that many users have never use irc before or they dont know irc address so then its a bit harder to find out why is down
