Hello,
I downloaded command and conquer just recently. Once I decompressed the file and selected the game icon a message appeared saying
'Sorry a serious error has occuurred.'
My question is why does this happen and can i solve it.

If its the rip you downloaded, then you must wait until the prompt box saying its finished - even though it may look like its frozen
