This is the version warezdemon makes.Which one do you think is better pete warez or gamerman?Anyone have a link to a fast torrent of this the only one i can find is on piratebay and it's slow as fuck.

I met Abuchhold (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/../members/abuchhold-190579) on that forum as far as I know it's not his site he is only a member there. I too have been looking along with Deuce for a good version. I would have to guess that Gamerman's version is better since he has been making the other "Black" versions I know of.

RE that other forum I don't like that you have to subscribe( Pay )to gain access to the ftp download of the "project" ( latest XP black ) it sounds a little greedy to me.

I found Black Xp 6.0010 on IPT uploaded on 12/07/07 don't know how I missed looks like there's two versions so far . Both by Gamerman one is a lite verson with apps , D/L'n as I type can't wait to try it .


OOps one upload is Black XP the other is app add ons or disk2 and Black XP Lite .

Your right just a slipstreamed O/S not for everyone but those that use it swear by it . Latest driver paks , win sp2 , programs and themes . :)

I guess I'll answer my own question. It does not seem to be a theme, but an actual OS.:naughty:

It is basically a stripped down version of XP with TONS of extras and loads of apps to install, fully working and updateable. In short None of the crap with all the tweaks already in it.

Yes it is possible to dual-boot, as long as black is installed on the 'c' drive, otherwise somethings don't work, and it screws up.

Black XP 6.2 is scheduled for release today, but since Kirk had some set backs it may be tomorrow.

Yes it is possible to dual-boot, as long as black is installed on the 'c' drive, otherwise somethings don't work, and it screws up.

Black XP 6.2 is scheduled for release today, but since Kirk had some set backs it may be tomorrow.

Sounds good, i would defenetly recomend registering at the site. Its free to regester and you get help with any problems you may or may not have when you install.

I have 6.o.o.16 Ultimate ( I think ) And it is working great no problems. The only few points I don't love are. It installs nero 8 without asking if you want it, and it does not come with a few post installs such as photoshop and a few others I can't remember ATM when they did come with 4.10. I found that strange. Now I like nero but it was odd that there was no option not to install it. Also as Abuchhold (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/../members/abuchhold-190579) pointed out you can dual OS this one but if you don't put it on the C drive( not even the local disk but the drive letter C ) it will install all the bootskins and post installs to the C drive and some things will not work unless you move them to the correct directories. This drove me nuts the first time I installed Black.

Also if you are dual-booting, as a rule you install the older operating system first. Just a heads up for anyone wanting to do this.
