Can't help you sorry too many threads about this ...... all kidding aside tho why don't you try a few trials from some of the big boys like Kaspersky , Nod32 , F-Secure , ZA. or even Norton .

Here's a site for ratings but most are paid B.S. adds .

P.S. If I could get over the KIS blacklist crap I'd pick it but I'm finding NOD32 is pretty good too .

Personally I would recommend Kaspersky or NOD32. Kaspersky has better detection rattings than NOD32, but NOD32 is really light and a little more complicated to use. So, if your computer is not really powerful and you don't mind having an anti-virus with a complicated interface, choose NOD32. What is your computer by the way?

Norton could slow down even a Quantum computer and I've seen some problems with the newest version of F-Secure like freezing and causing limited connectivity problems sporadically and this was not due to a virus or malware. I wouldn't recommend those..

@jeanmik , Norton slowing down a Quantum computer , thats good and very true . Symantec's End Point or Norton 360 brand is not as bad for "Grannies " computer tho .

What I liked about F-Secure or Shaw's brand was the update on the hour . Lets face tho you need the total package including Firewall , spyware protection ect.

Most trackers will have it nicole , you just have to google the public trackers or get an invite to one of the many private ones , hink hink ! :D Like Ronnie Coleman said thats my poison at the moment too .

I've tried a bunch of antivirus progs. and decide to stick with Kaspersky though the license is a pretty tough issue. Anyway, PM me if you need this guy ;)

by the way, all the cool kids use kasp and nod32 ;)
nod32 needs to configured properly though.
They have good forums site where they describe this in detail

when I was in XP a while ago, b4 moved to MBP, I used to use ZoneAlarm Security Suite to cover all the security needs, it's the best protection for me and I was really satisfy, because it covers all things

I think Kaspersky is very reliable. Use it for years now. But NOD is also good, it is only a habit what you will use

Im using AVG (Free Edition) for almost 5 months and no problem since then,
i've been using avast but it's sucks, the comp was frozen and shit,
i really advise you to give a try to AVG.
