Best software to rip a dvd9?

I know I can dvdshrink it in no time but, I want to rip a dvd9 with the "movie only", what software would be best for this?

ps, I don't want to save any extras, I just want the "movie", nothing else. ;)

It has Full DVD, Movie + Menus, and Movie Only options to rip any DVD.

You can use dvdshrink to backup just the movie. I've done that and it's not too hard.

Click on "re-author" and drag the movie to the left side.

Sorry Backlash, I didn't word my question very well.

What I meant was, I know how to do it with dvdshrink but want a software that'll do it with higher quality.

As far as I know the latest nero is quite good.

You can rip dvd5 or dvd9, all the extras or just main movie.

Also I reckon nero recode is better than shrink...

Check it out mate, it's the best I've tried.

I use anydvd working in the background and nero for ripping and burning.

I just use DVD Decrypter for PC needs.

HandBrake on Mac is excellent... can go straight to XVid with little effort. (AutoGK does the same on PC)

I know exactly what you're talking about. I use DVDshrink to rip the DVDs to my HDD, but then I use CloneDVD to remove everything except the menus (threats, previews and extras).

If you use DVDshrink to reauther, it kills the menu structure and it becomes unusable. CloneDVD keeps the menus intact and loops the links to the removed material back to the main menu.

I usually use DVDDecrypter if you're looking to just extract the vobs, or DVDFab.
