2007-11-21 - Accounts Hacked/Stolen ? OK, staff are getting REALLY fed up getting pm's etc on this! If you choose a crappy pass, or use the same pass for other sites etc, and come to us asking for your account back, then TOUGH LUCK!! We will not give your account back to you! YOU are responsible for your account, so be responsible and learn to protect it and keep it! The majority of the time, a user says "My account was hacked". I am 99.9% certain that this not true. The coder on Trancetraffic has added and fixed many security issues, if your account was stolen, it's probably because you have a weak password, not logged out of a public computer correctly, use the same password for another place.

An all too common activity. Your best bet is to become friends with the admins/mods and over times they will do anything for you. By just showing up one day on irc and asking for your account back, and then disappearing from irc never to return will get you no where.
