Where is the best place to get a seedbox and which is the best one out there? Is it really needed for a casual user or is it more for the big dogs? Thanks so much!

Leaseweb are by far and away the better provider, they are a little on the high side in regards to price but you get what you pay for.

I think it depends on quite a few factors:

-your budget
-your usage
-quality
-type( shared, dedicated)
-if you're willing to share with other people

If you can specify the above, you will greatly narrow your choices.

For example, if my budget is $30 and I dont want to share , and I use a lot of bandwidth but dont need a lot of hdd, then tzulo might be good for you.

if you're on a low budget maybe you can use VPS, it's shared by a ratio, but I think it's pretty good, and like on hosting-ie you could get unlimited traffic

Does it make a difference if I am accessing it through a macbook? I am traveling and it is the only way that I can connect right now and I would like to continue seeding. Is there any hope? Thanks for all the great replys

I have seedbox from hosting-ie and I'm very satisfied
of course this isn't the best one but its doing the job and I have good buffer at many trackers
so if you short of money you can try hosting-ie/keyweb virtual servers

i like jmh services i have seedbox with them i pay 49.99 us money and get 1 terrabyte of bandwith 50 mbs download and 20 mbs upload good enough for me for the price unless you want a dedicated server so it all depends what you want to do i upload with it at i-p and i use that in a month and thats uploading about 4 or 5 movies a day and seeding about thirty gigs a day.

of course you're good to go using your MacBook, you can choose whether the seedbox uses Windows or Linux, if using Windows just use the Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection for Mac, if it uses Linux then just uses the terminal.

The fastest speed I saw is from this user (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/members/jam0980tr-170107/), look at his signature :)
