Uninstall it then install nod32 is the only advice i can give you.

in firewall settings make sure you allow all traffic for utorrent.

in additional tab of firewall settings check "maximum compatibility".

You don't need to switch to NOD32 to use torrents. Check the manuals for Kaspersky, specifically the Firewall portion, and it should tell you how to enable ports manually.

Either that or disable the Firewall part of the program. There is no reason an anti-virus program should prevent torrent downloading, unless the torrent has a virus.

yeah, you won't get far if you switch to inferior product every time you have a problem :)

your reasoning was going great until....

disable the Firewall part of the program

I think the only problem with KIS , is its a tuff nut to crack and a little bit higher learning curve than say Nod32 . It is getting hard to crack too mind you . Think about tho , would you want to use a program that can't even protect it's own property ? Not a very good Malware leader in my mind .

Kaspersky just needs to be better out of the box or have a better help forum for issues like this .
