X-mas banners!

Allright! So christmas is comming up (as you all know) and it's filled with happiness, candles, food, work, hope, joy and ofc filesharing. All trackers have diferent ways to show there spirit for this worldwide holiday, which I think is nice. My question to you is though, what du you think about spiceing up trackers for christmas? And the most important question is:

What tracker has the nicest looking x-mas banner?
Please don't just answer with a trackername, give us the reason why it's the nicest one :)

well this year is not much special abouth x-mas banner..but also i have my favorits


SCC have very nice banner its pretty good,not much special tho but still nice and clean

on RevTT i like very much when they changed every time when u refresh or browsing the site.

i also like on PeerPortal very very much when snow falls and looks very good IMO but this is not big snow like on other site this is small and very real..:D


Whatcd also have very cool blue holiday style,but it could be little better..

and since ekk3123 is on SD (i think)no i know that SD can do and must do better X banner that this current..

I love when people modify their site for the holidays. I'm not big on celebrating them myself, but the new decorations do add a little cheer ^_^

As for a favorite, I can't say I have one.

Hehe, I get your point Forumas. And yes, im on SD and I made that banner. sure I could have done better but the only thing I've considering changing on it is removing the santa-dude and the text: "x-mas edition '07" bcuz we want it to still keep the good old SD look.

Yes, it's great to get your oppinion about it. No offence taken but I will look in to it and try some diferent styles. but I can't prommis any changes :P

amazing banners on bitmetv. except the red one with the sleigh. kind of an eyesore that 1. if you look through all the entries there are some really nice banners there.

ya I was thinking about this last night. They are all very nice and give each tracker a fresh feeling. Anything is good sometimes as seeing the same thing everyday it kinda just disappears.

But what I was thinking was damn bitmetv has some nice ones!

FSC have had Banner competition...i think they will be upping the winner banner
(selected by all user voting) on Christmas...they all look fantastic.

TD (torrent-damage) also has voting on banners...pretty good selection there as well.

As a former media graphic designer I prefer FTN, no doubt about it. It simply oozes elegance and class to me. Not saying all the others are bad, but FTN is the only one of all the mentioned ones so far that I think is really stylish and well made in terms of colors, positioning and everything from top to bottom - and it's simple and not overdone as opposed to some of the banners on some of the trackers.

Less is more.

While not simple BitMeTV comes in 2nd. I really like 3 of the banners that changes whenever you enter the site, because they have this great Christmas feel to them. The rest on the site I don't like.
