A girl I know was complaining about her PC being so slow, so I took a look at it to see if it was spyware affecting it, but turns out it's old as fook.

A 386 with 128 memory. :01:

She wants a new computer but can't afford much. A used one may even suit her.

I know that clocker posted a new computer for $200 that was good for internet and email but used Ubuntu.

Is there something comparable with Windows, as basic Internet and email will be it's only uses?

If all she's doing is innertubes and email, she'll never even know it's Ubuntu.
Once you open Firefox- which is preinstalled- it all looks the same.

The used Dell's from Microcenter are a good idea but it's still cheaper if building from scratch to use Newegg.

Look on Craigslist...I've seen some pretty good deals on there if you know what you're looking at.
