Using something like torrentflux, you can use a seedbox by installing it onto a webhost, right?

So say you sign up for a free one? (110mb.com, etc)

There are a lot of free ones with a lot of bandwith, but will the speeds be really slow?

Sorry if it's awkwardly phrased. I don't know how else to say this.

Speeds will be fast but its against the host's TOS (terms of service) and once they find out (they will eventually), you will be terminated.

When they detect a fast traffic from ur accout u will get terminated, quickly.

It's easier to get an actual seedbox. That'll just make your life a little bit easier.

Don't rent a web host, rent directly a seedbox.

slow or fast depends on the bandwidth itself and the traffic, but it'll surely against their term of service, just rent a dedicated and if that's too much for your budget, there are lots of cheap vps around like hivebox, tzulo, etc

There are web hosts that allow this kind of stuff.

And this is free :) I'd rather do this than pay for a seedbox.

What's bothering me right now is the fact that I can't set up torrentflux. Anyone want to do it for me? :)

I would go with the a seedbox to avoid any further hassles or possible termination. Plus web hosts are alot slower. Hope some can help you though.

most of the webhosts time out the connections and limit the open ports. Also if they find out, they may send you a big letter, and terminate your services.

Hm..

Say I'm able to get web hosting with 75 gigabyte traffic a month that normally costs money but I get it for free (because of a deal I made.. :p) and that the web "hostee" would allow torrents / warez. Because he does

75 G traffic a month is nothing in the torrent world

Actually it's good enough for me..

But one free web host offers 7 terrabytes of traffic a month.

either way, they are webhosts. i doubt if they will support the BT protocol in the 1st place. and even if they do support it, will they allow it? i doubt it. but hey its free and definitely worth a shot. would be great if it worked out :)
if you need help setting up tflux let me know

Hm I hope it works out.

I won't get into any legal trouble right?

If I will I don't want to do it >_<

And I don't just need help. I have no idea where to start. (Yes I read many tutorials on how to set it up)

i really dont think there should be legal trouble involved. they will ban you from using their services at the most

Hm. this seemed like a good replacement because I can't afford a seedbox.

I don't know though.. anyone else want to try it and tell me the results?

After all, you can make as many web hosts as you can with free ones and there's one with mysql and php supported, along with 7 tb bandwith and 7 tb space.
