Request for FSC

I do not need SCT as I have FTN.:D However, can I get the FSC atleast because I wanted this because of this reason.

The Share Index System (c)

The Share Index system is unique to FSC, and was designed to help those that find it hard to seed back enough to maintain a healthy ratio. For each 24 hours of connectivity, members earn a ratio 0.10 for each active torrent. That means that even if no one leeches from a seeder, within 10 days of sharing he will have a ratio of at least 1.0 on that torrent! This special ratio is called a Share Ratio, and is basically a bonus, added to the traditional up/down file ratio.

The Share Ratio is added to the member's file ratio to create a combined ratio, which is called a Share Index. The Share Index is the defacto measure of sharing on the site. If you are partially successful in seeding some data back, the Share Ratio for that torrent will help to boost the file ratio. All this goes into the Share Index.

As I have good upload speed. I always seed the torrent for long time. Not by restricting the speed because I have low upload speed that is 512kbps.

Can I get the Christmas gift this time.

If the person is willing to give the sct invitation it is fine as my previous request was not helpful in getting the invitation to sct. I am planning to live with that.. However, if someone still interested to give one. I will take. I don't think that will happen.You cannot force someone to give or convice too much to get the invitation to Sct. Just you can request.

However, as per previous post that I promised that I will reopen sct thread again. I did not reopen because if I needed I would have reopened it and if you see my signature I removed the looking for the sct invitation and if someone is really want posting the thread that is related to sct I will post the request and not forcing it.

Now the question is non-christian or anyother. If there is gift from someone take it after all we all are humanbeing. I am not a christian...just a human....

Actually, you would do better at FSC than at ScT.

And as much you post good topics, you don't get involved in the follow up replies, it's a discussion topic where you post something of interest and then members post their thoughts, and you reply with your answers on why the topic was started.

At the moment, you post something, then disappear for ages, then suddenly post something else, that my friend is not being sincere and just trying to fake it to make it look like you are getting "involved" in the community, very much like what you do here.

You may get invited, and you would enjoy it, but if you don't get invited, then I would suggest it is due to what I just stated, I wish you all the best, but the more you get involved the more you will get noticed :)

I would of thought Ftn's ratio system was superior to Fsc one? Also i believe GFT have a similar system to Fsc. You just don't have me convinced.

pandabear on a site like FSC its the spirit that counts. The ratio system they have in place ensures that no matter whether you have a fat pipe or a slow pipe you can have a positive ratio.

So when you say superior I guess the question is what are you using as your base line to judge against? I guess on my end the best would be no ratio's involved. I would say the next best would be the share index.

It's a very good & valid reason, and as FTN & FSC are closely related, it makes common sense to not to have to chase down ScT and their seedbox crew who only care about how much you have upped, and go with trackers who think about what they can do for you in return for what you can do for them.

And doing that on every torrent will get you nowhere fast, it is there to help and is the MINIMUM you have to seed for - not the maximum, you should still aim for 1:1 on every torrent, give back what you take philosophy etc.

i wasn't saying i quit after 36 hrs...no, i don't but sometimes i just can't afford to fulfill other trackers requirement as "1:1 ratio or 72 hrs"...only a non-seedbox user would understand that i suppose.

...and I was only referring to MINIMUM requirement of FTN and comparing it to MINIMUM requirement of other site...thats all.

It's no good comparing any ratio system to the FSC Share Index system, because the FSC Share Index system is the best for one single reason only, and that is...

It was the very first system implemented that moved away from the pure file ratio of other trackers, and started the trend in the first place.

Without NBF's idea, and my coding skill, SI, Ratio Free, Free Leech, Karma Points, and every other ratio affector would not exist. I started the ball rolling with an idea from NBF, and everyone else has followed suit.

Is that a suitable argument why the system at FSC is superior?

Good luck getting into FSC. I'm made for that type of tracker. I know i still have to instill trust in other members before they even think of giving me an invtie there. My advice basically is for you to do the same. Also be brutully honest and a good member here. Good luck man.

FSC is great tracker.. I also mentioned the reason why I needed in my opening post. I know FSC is not having any invitation but anyone trust me and nominate for FSC. I really hope that happens...

I opened the SCT thread. People here are just spamming without helping... May be people think that I came here only for the invitation. Yes. Initially when I started all of my posts are from the invitation thread.

Now I am also trying to help others not just for the sake of getting the invitation. But I believe this forum is huge where most people like to help each other and respect others. Other than getting the invitation. You can discuss anything that is within the rules of sites.
