hi im in a bit of a mess got my son a new lappy but the power kept going off save energy its vista home basic in system tray its says power options i clicked the bottom one now the bloody thing wont come back on any ideas any one :wacko::cry:

Are you saying that it won't power on now? If so Try removing the battery and using the plug only.
