Who was your favorite Street Fighter II Arcade Character and why?

In arcade edition I used Ken because of the uppercut and the flying kick.
Sagat in champion edition because of his Tiger uppercut.

ryu but i would pwn with vega
but one thing i dont get it why they switched names between vega and M. Bison in movie and later series, cuz i remember calling M. Bison Vega in some part of movie.

The original names were different from the game.
M.Bison was the name for Balrog but it sounded too similar to Mike Tyson so they had to change it.
True story.

They changed Bison's name to Bison when they translated the japanese version to english, I think (might have been a mistake) dunno if (the current) Vega was ever called Bison, though, I can't remember.

I've got the megadrive-version in one of those mini-megadrive one-game things, can't remember where I put it, though.

Mk got boring after a while. too little moves to try. SF2 is evergreen.

i prefer SF II alpha

reason: The spotty 14 year olds wouldn't complain about loosing 50p in that machine as much. :ermm:
