hey why don't u group up with ur friends and u can make enough money for a good seed box

bikernin
12-27-2007, 01:54 PM
yea can get one of those unmetered bw 100 mbit boxes for 100 euros and more. even if you got three people sharing it, its more than sufficient

singing_sol
12-27-2007, 01:55 PM
yeah good for sites above lvl-8

bikernin
12-27-2007, 01:58 PM

Bad Blue Boy

bikernin
12-27-2007, 02:21 PM
im sure there are a lot of people here who pay 50 euros for 2 TB on a 100 mbit line. or something around that. so if you open the right thread i dont see any reason why you cant find two more people to share a 1 gbit line with unlimited bw. it would cost less than 50 euros each. i would personally go for it if i had the money :)
lots of trusted members here so dont worry about that part

i was just trying to say spending $100 on a seed box is not worth it...you wouldnt get it anyways....with time you will know it too

bikernin

Why don't u keep ur opinions 2 urself instead of bullshittin...

The guy is askin for opinions on seedboxes not all that u are talking bout...he prob has that stuff any way.....

If u can stretch ur cash to $80 then the spyro server from vectoral would be the best bet AND there is 1 in stock so it would be setup within 24 hours.....usually it can take upto 2 weeks to setup if they are not in stock...

Speeds are crazy http://www.vectoral.info/servers.htm

In my opinion if u want speed, then Vectoral is the cheapest and best.....I know it can seem kinda dear but it's well worth it..

Tzulo is good for starting out, but once u get a seedbox u want high speeds and to me hitting upload of 1.5-2mbs just aint good enough....

I used the renacu Vectoral option and downloaded at 12mbs and uploaded to 11mbs but a steady 5mbs on a good torrent....

I tried zenx5 $140 100/100 ummetered and it was shite... max upload was 1.5mbs...thiefs in my opinion...

Softlayer promo offer $139 100/100, yeah download at upto 10mbs but upload on even good torrents can be crap for the money...

I heard leaseweb is very good but expensive as if u live in the EU u have to pay VAT.

Bottom line in my opinion ofcourse is Vectoral is the best speed wise but the support is shite..especially from the director of sales..he's a nob.

I don't remember seeing what kind of OS you were looking for. Are you going Linux or Windows? You can try Vectoral although you'd be stretching your cash to go there.

what the hell has that got to do with this topic???

anyway, vectoral is excellent choice. since you have ubuntu, utorrent is out of question. you have to choose between rtorrent and torrentflux. i would personally prefer tflux. very easy to set up

Bad Blue Boy
12-28-2007, 01:16 PM
so i can use utorrent fuck.....i have never worked with rtorrent ....so what should i do ...i have heard good things about rtorrent ...and m8 Stranger99 (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/../../members/stranger99-184539) dont spam please

bikernin
12-28-2007, 01:27 PM
i would still recommend tflux. its very easy to use. and with a few hacks you can get it to do all you want. visit their forums and see. and hey if you dont like it, you can always switch. worst case, you shift to a windows box next month if you want uT that much. but trust me tflux is sufficient

Bad Blue Boy
12-28-2007, 01:39 PM
but is torrentflux approved on every tracker

bikernin
12-28-2007, 01:45 PM
yep. ive used it on BMTV - the strictest of them all. im pretty sure every tracker will approve it. dont forget to inform everyone in advance that you will be using a seedbox

Bad Blue Boy
12-28-2007, 02:07 PM
yeah i know that i have already used a lot of seedboxes

You can install utorrent on a vectoral with Buggyme's excellent guide (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/f-guides-and-tutorials-65/t-filesharing-installing-utorrent-leeware-walkthrough-169620/?highlight=leeware)

Ask them them for fedora core 6 as they normally ship an older version

Agreed. Probably going to go that route myself. In dire need for a seedbox now. Tired of my isps limitation on uploads. Have no problems on my download speeds though.
