View Full Version : Need A Good Proxy

Not a web proxy like 6m6.org, but something like 66.153.203.218.

Most of the ones I find are slow and stop working after a few days. I've tried things like proxy-lists.org but they all stop working after a little while.

Are there any elite ones in the United States that are fast, but actually work so I don't have to check back there every day and get new ones?

Just get a shit load, from one of those sites with the lists, and keep changing as one stops working.

I was being sarcastic, in response to your profound statement:

Please sir tell me how you 'root' them yourself.

Okay thanks. I was looking for something I could use permanently, but I guess I'll just get a list and keep changing.

Can anyone recommend a good proxy program that'll change it for me? (so I don't have to keep going to options in firefox, network, proxy, entering it in, etc)

And also I want this to be safer, not to cheat or etc.

HidemyIP is ok. But remember, these programs might mess up with other programs.

Excuse me madam, but my post was a feeble attempt at humor; note the :naughty: emoticon. Your post was an insult:

... and in response to 3) above:

Use proxy sel, if your just browsing and use firefox. It doesn't auto change, but it has a nice drop downlist to switch between, and even supports tor.

Charon combined with a good proxy judge is an excellent program to filter proxies.

There are many forums dedicated to proxies all over the net, grab their lists and filter those out, you should strive to find a Level 1 proxy :D
