So I just got into a few new trackers and well since I am just concentrating on uploading I noticed that one of my ratio's is through the roof!

Share ratio: 6238 Upload: 143gb
Share ratio: 676 Upload: 283gb
Share ratio: 15 Upload: 88gb
Share ratio: 2.2 Upload: 430gb

just curious to see what people have as ratio's that is all. I am sure someone with a seedbox has a 10000 ratio out there

I used to have "Inf" ratio coz they had freeleech and stuff. The system wouldn't auto-promote me coz i had no down stat so the sysop manually added 1 Byte to my down stat (very old story though). From then i never downloaded coz i found my ratio to be "killer of all ratio" and i could pwn thread like this one and enlarge my e-penis :D

Seeing these ratios makes me wonder if I even belong on this forum since mine are miniscule in comparison to many of yours.
Question, how do you get them that high???

Some sites you download alot from and use it to boost ratios on other sites. Then you switch over to the sites you booster your ratio on earlier and leech the hell outta them to the point where your ratio is down to 2.0 and start boosting the other sites.

all three of the mehtods you mentioned.

but don't get blinded by buffer whores.

you are fine with a ratio of 1:1 or even lower on all trackers.

sometimes it's nice to have a buffer to be able to download unpopular or older files.

most of the people with huge buffers never use them anyway, they just do it to get invites or for their e-penis.

I'd rather seeing a 1:1 ratio like 150GB DL & 160GB UL than big ratio like 25GB DL & 200GB UL. If I have an invite to giveaway based on the above 2 ratios, I'd rather give my invite to the first one.

Well for me I move from tracker to tracker, For example.

File x drops on my top level site. But i miss it bc im not home, if i grab it off of the top level site, ill never get 1.0 ratio at all so I grab off site number two.

So I might buffer accounts to the extreme, but in the end ...of my 25 or so trackers, most are about 2.0 ratio after a few weeks of using them

I have 1:1 but thought I would never be considered for invites because I didn't have a high upload low download ratio like many others. Nice to know that I have a chance and that not everyone gives invites based on a 2 plus ratio. I don't feel so low after reading your post vinhkhang01 and poloarbear

true. i think we must measure how much a person uses a tracker by how much hes downloaded. you can just upload using a seedbox also and you wont exactly be using the site.
