In need of a crash course for Azureus [Archive]

i'm just beginning to use azureus 3.0.4.2 and need to learn everything there is to learn about it tonight. call me eager, i do not want to be directed to the disorganized wiki. :angry:

edit: sorry, i'm still not being specific. what i really want is a site that goes through every configuration item and explains them.

I agree. There and Here (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/http/www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/UG_Options) will give you basically all you need to know.

i use azureus on my mac and i strongly recommend that you uninstall it and get the older version (2.5.0.4 i think..?) the new one has a lot of useless junk that you don't need (the vuze stuff)

agree, 2.5.0.4 still the best, let's just hope private trackers aren't going to ban 2.5.0.4

You think it's best because it doesn't have Vuze, am I correct?

I'm pretty sure if you upgrade from 2.5.0.4, it doesn;t install Vuze.

And in any case if you don't like Vuze you can easily change the settings so that it's in the old UI.
