You'd have to get a 1gbit unmetered, otherwise you'd just end up running through it in a day.

where could i find one that is unmetered?

are you sure you will be able to exploit gbit?

to have good hardware to be able to pump out 1gbit of data via torrent you need to spend way more then 200$/month.......

lw, rackedge, netdirekt... there are many places in EU with top quality networks ;)

http://www.rackedge.com/storage.php

http://www.leaseweb.com/index.php?p=dedicatedhighvolume

(looking at your current "ratio proofs" I think that you can be very happy also with a 40eu/month keyweb server to start with ;) )

so Canadain dollers how much are we talking about for the

XRS2100

- Dual-Core Xeon 3050 (2MB Cache)
- 2GB ECC DDR2-667 RAM
- 8x 500GB SATA2 drives (4TB)
- 10,000GB traffic
- Gigabit uplink (1000Mbps)

€849 monthly, €299 setup

High Volume Server 1 from lease web is in my price range could you tell me how much canadain that would be please?

yayyyyyy

ok pass on that what about High Volume Server 1 from leaseweb??

Hey
01-01-2008, 01:33 AM
849 Euros = 1220.28017 Canadian dollars

yayyyyyy
01-01-2008, 01:34 AM
169.00 Eur = 246.686 Cad

1 Eur = 1.45968 Cad

but depends on where you are going to use it... on certain places it's more important to hit harder as possible (gbit will owns the other 100mbit seeds)... on other places instead its better to be able to upload more data (100mbit flat = 30tera/month ... with keyweb i think you shouldn't have problems doing 10+ terabytes/month) ...

IGetMoney
01-01-2008, 01:37 AM
hmm thats a pretty decent price rite in my price range 200-250 how would i set this kind of server up

yayyyyyy
01-01-2008, 01:41 AM
i would go for linux (centos <3) + azureus + azsmrc for remote control (or bittornado or rtorrent...)

or windows (+12eur/month) + utorrent :/
