Our temporary solution cannot handle the load at the moment. We are expecting today our new servers to be delivered, so that we can fix this issue that caused the downtime all this time. However the tracker will remain online, so you can keep your clients running....

i'm tired seeding to big ratio and then account disabled by stupid staff i hope the site is gonna stay down, it's the 3rd time they ban me due to "too much high ratio" what a bunch of low lifes.

They had a hardware problem that couldn't be fixed. Their currently switching servers and the site will be back soon.

a tracker with so many users and so many torrents mustn't be the most simple thing to find a server to deal with all it's load.

I'm not sure about TL specifically, but most sites discourage over seeding. It makes it difficult, if not impossible for some others to get to a 1/1 ratio. Now most of us do it, but if your doing it to the extreme, I could see why they disabled you for it.

i doubt they would ban someone for over seeding ._. well ive never seen it happened

They don't ban people for overseeding. On half my accounts i buffered them with a unmetered seedbox, and nothing happened to me :)

Yea thats strange. It almost sounds like them saying "Well..were going to punish you now for doing good." Makes no sense.

the site is not up but the tracker is still live...
wonder if a server delivery delay is the real problem?
guess we'll have to wait and see

uhm... hardware problems... hope was only that...

tho it's strange that to fix an hardware problem they had to move to malaysia (piradius)...

Same as where *** is hosted!

I was hoping TL would move servers to a more secure location.

maul1515
01-06-2008, 07:49 AM
Ya, its up and running quite fast. They said it was hardware failure but I wonder if the addition of new scripts brought the need for a faster server. (It was said in another post by an admin that they were testing new scripts). It was also stated that server uptime has higher priority over any script. Either way, I am happy its back. :)

grimms
01-06-2008, 08:04 AM
No the datacenter they were with had some server issues they couldn't get worked out in time.
