here, you can find a 86400 x 43200 picture, 10gb, of earth

http://www.docbert.org/MP/
this one is 1.5gigapixel, from 400pictures

http://www.harlem-13-gigapixels.com/
this one was originaly a 279689x46901 PSB file at 50gb, but such a big file cannot be displayed on the web. So it's been converted to TIF, and cutted in little pieces (since tif only allows 2gb max). The picture was formed from ~2000 pictures

But finaly, the biggest picture on the web is a terapixel picture, of come breat cancer shit, since TIFF only allowed 2gb, they made their own format (BigTIFF), the picture is 1095630 x 939495, and it's a ~3000gb file

=]

EDIT: and just to say, your 4800 x 3600 picture is really nothing D:, my gay camera takes ~4kx3k pictures.. which is pretty close to that.. and the picture is at a gay quality, my cam's pictures are atleast at a good quality =]
