whats with all the invite requests

Hey all,

Anyone know the sudden cause for requests to one of the newer trackers? They are like wildfire, I see atleast 7 posted on one page alone:O

Are people just seeing someone else ask for it so they are asking for it as well now?

Maybe to buffer and use as a bargaining chip in future trades? Probably for curiosity's sake, but the accounts will most likely die with time because eets notz lvl 9sz.

yup, That poll peaked my interest about one of them (was already a member of the other)

Now that Someone (I already knew) was so nice to invite me to the other I can say that they both do look and feel very nice for trackers so new.

Edit: I hadn't even heard of the one I just got until the poll (didnt just want it because ppl said it was good.....although I didnt ignore the fact :P )

I think if one sees another asking for an invite to any popular tracker and is successful in receiving it many will follow up with request of their own thinking they have a greater chance now since person A just got it. Hence all the request threads we've seen lately. I see the same people requesting invites all the time over and over.

Well I understand the ScT because they just handed out like 3000 invites, iTS and ScL are both closed and invites dont come easy at all on those sites, hell I cant even get my upload high because they dont have alot of members! :lol:

I just hang out in the forums at iTS as there are a bunch of users that are here, there except there is no "i want invite" every other thread so its actually comfortable to hang out there.:happy:

@ OP question, i think it depends on which request you are taking about. Some were because of that particular site added invite on Christmas or New Year, some because they recently opened invite, and some because of hypes, and the rest are "others" :lol:

i think mango showed why people want invites to places so badly, at least around here that is.

Its because you can, as simple as that. Its so easy and you don't get hurt, to make a post about how you need a invite etc, and sometimes you get lucky and yo get the invites etc. Thats one of the few advantages of trading, it stops people going for things they don't want, because they have to give up something to get another thing etc.
