View Full Version : Anyone running linux on a ps3?

I really don't know anything about linux, but the fact that I could run an OS on my ps3 still interests me enough to possibly learn how to use it. I was told yellowdog linux was the one written for the ps3, but sounds like other versions work too.

If anyone is doing it, is it going swimmingly? :D What have you been able to do with linux on your ps3? I'm curious

Damn you can run linux on PS3. I guess i really have to learn Linux when i get a PS3.

Yes, and then from what I've read, you can download games to its hard drive and play them.

hmmm... my mistake, i thought I read a while ago that you could. but now that i did some more reading... seems like you cant. sorry for the misinformation
