Antivirus Help

ok I'm running Norton Professional 2k3 and okay, i was trying to get a registry cleaner, and it turns out it had a bug on it and it disabled my software, so now i can't scan, and everytime i'm on mIRC, it tries to send the virus to people entering the chatroom i'm in and everything. any body have any ideas on what i can do? help would be greatly appreciated

Or try online virus scan (http://housecall.trendmicro.com/)

Try checking this tread out. It has info about free av software, free online scans, and places to go to get tools to fix viruses.

harry thanx for the scan, it picked up a few other shocking suprises on my PC, but i dunno, i'm still having probs with mirc, so i dunno if its the prog, or what happened. but yeah its all good, thank you for the help! much love
