I am trying to connect to the internet with my laptop and a nethear wireless rangemax router.The problem is that th elaptop works fine when i am using it in the living room where the router is located but when i go into my room whcih is about 6 or 7 feet away the signal goes weak and then my laptop cant recieve the signal.I have no idea whats wrong i use the same router at my girlfriends house and her room is farther than mine from the living room and it works just fine.The router is Netgear Rangemax wireless router ( model WPN824 ).the laptop is Acer Aspire 3680-2682 14.1in Widescreen Laptop Computer (http://xpbargains.com/jump.php?clickid=76875&deal=circuitcity&afsrc=1&xpid=AS36802682&arg=185211) w/ Celeron M 440 1.86GHz, 14.1in WXGA, 512MB, 80GB, DVD/CDRW, 802.11g wireless, Vista Home Basic.i updated to the newest firmwire for both the laptop and the router.please any help would be appreciated.Happy New Year!!
