View Full Version : Best Tracker for OLD Stuff?

And by 'old stuff' I mean both music and films from 1900's, 20's, 30's, 40's (black and white films, B-movies, old jazz/blues, lounge singers, Harlem Renaissance era stuff, etc.).

Or even films that are 'less' old: 50's, 60's, 70's.

Not really interested in lossless stuff (can't sacrifice the drive space). I know Archive.org is good for some of this despite not being a BT tracker.

Any advice? (I have great ratios on some private trackers... :D)
Thanks

i know you didnt want a lossless tracker, but i think e***** focuses on older music materials, but its pretty much close to impossible to get there :P

PiSexy's DVD tracker has a few here and there. Great at filling reqs if your a PU. But all invites have been striped from members (I lost 3 or I'd give you one) and invites closed until further notice. :ermm:

Yup i got invited the day they striped invites by a member there. Tried to signed up and got an oops not even sign up for invites message. Heard that tracker is really good too. But to the thread starter try KG, Cinema Obscura, among others.;)

Yea Myspleen is good too. Especially for comedy. Unfortunately I don't have an invite to offer you at this time. But consider Myspleen mate!

In terms of old versus new torrents, are the new torrents referred to as scene releases? I've heard that term pop up a lot in description of torrent trackers and my understanding is that it means like same day torrents for stuff released very recently?

Nope. Neither one. I just checked. It's a shock to me that they don't have the three stooges. I never checked for them before at myspleen, but that hurts. Larry, Curly and Moe were my favorite back in the day (The original three).;)

Karagarga and Cinemageddon and are both absolutely amazing. (Though they are very different from each other as I'm sure you know.)

Karagarga is harder to maintain a ratio on than many other trackers but it is worth it. A lot of the movies are in DVD9 format as well and with preserved extras.

Any classical tracker should do the job!
Karagarga, cinematic and Myspleen.
