Ok I have read most of the posts about this and I just have 3 questions.

1: If I get the latest version of Kazaa lite will I be 100% safe?

2: What is peer gaurdian suppose to do and will it make me safe?

3: Is this just about music, not movies? Cuz I dont download music just movies.

well if ur downloading thing thats just came out like bad boys 2 or such they'll most probably will get u in trouble. Old movies probably will not.

okay--

1- YOU CAN NEVER BE 100% SAFE - sorry - but yeah d/l'ing the newest version always helps

2- peer gaurdian helps block the IP addreses of Governmental and other organizations that try and crack down on the filesharing community - just remeber to update your blocked IP's regularly.

3- Its about anything thats copywrited and being distributed illegaly (without consent of the owner/creator)

3. The RIAA is only after music, so in that sense yes. the BSA goes after software, and MPAA after movies. Documents, TV shows, etc, probably only have their creators to protect them so it's pretty unlikely you'd get sued for one of those.

I&#39;m down to maybe 3-5 songs a month now myself, I guess it&#39;s true what they say, there just isn&#39;t much I want to listen to anymore. No one uploads my tracks either. <_<
