Hi there,
I recently installed Vista on one of my pcs. Some of the programs that I had been using on WinXPta weren't compatible with Vista anymore namely nod32 and zonealaram.
Any recommendations for anti-virus and firewall for Vista please.
Please state why you think something is good:P

MeH double post :pinch:
I use AVG by grisoft. It's free and unobtrusive, and doesn't us up a lot of resources. I am behind a good hardware firewall, so I don't use a software firewall. I tried a freeware firewall on my laptop, but it interfered with the AVG email scanner, so i got rid of it. Just use the Windows firewall when I am out and about. For adware, I just run the free versions of SpyBot and AdAware. All of these have Vista versions by now, and unlike Norton, they are free.
I've only tried Bitdefender so far and it seems to work quite well with Vista. They have a an all-in-one suite too.

did you have to manually tweak vista for nod to work?
If no which version are you using?
