I have all the pink floyd i can get my hands on. I think they are one of the greatest bands of all time. Hugely influencal and original. They are all geniuses and define why music is considered a fine art.

I have always been comfortably numb! I have always loved Pink Floyd and they were even better in concert.

BILLY-THE-FISH go to "My Controls" at the top of the page click it and then go to "Edit my profile" click it and look for the custom member title and add what you want. When your done click "Amend my profile" and your done.

Not a fan, but they're better than most bands out today (or back then).
On my top 10 list for sure.

I can't listen to a lot of the old shit. I get sick of hearing the same fucking songs again and again. Same with bands like Lynard Skynard or Led Zepplin.

I honestly don't know why people think Led Zepplin is the next best thing since sliced bread. Yes, they're good (better than crap these days), but not that good. But to each his own.

edit: hey skizo, how do you not make those forum stars appear?

pink floyd is a common soundtrack for smokin. i enjoy some of the not so common songs. they get a little strange, but they're interesting nontheless.

lynard skynard lynyrd skynyrd. ;)

You could ad-block them. The reason I wasn't seeing them was RealitY was working on the forum. They were off for a bit, but back now.

It's funny how most people have only heard "The Wall", which is a good album mind you, but "Meddle" is by far the best...

@Cpt_azad - A thing you have to realize about Led Zepplin that makes them unique to any other rock band is the fact that they use FULL chords while playing. Rather than using a shortcut box chord Zepplin always used full chords for a fuller and more harmonious sound, which in turn makes it harder to play the songs they've written.
Now in your defense, their music is rather easy to play if you use box chords, or power chords as their called now, but they are really hard to play at that pace with full chords.

BTW: Way to bump a 3 year old thread Chrisgaff100. :D

Ya, the songs from LZ are almost n00bish to play with power chords, not sure on box chords. But I can imagine playing them on full chords, now that would be a bitch and a half at the pace that the songs are played at. Thanks, I honestly didn't know they used full chords, I guess that does make them unique :)

edit: schweeet, i'm one star again :D
