It's impossible to say which are good ones as everyone is different and has different needs.

The obvious selection would be FT*, ScT ect... but other sites that have good general stuff is TL and RevTT which u all know is open at present and if u don't have it grab it now as I find it a cracking site and use it all the time :) Just my opinion ofcourse :)

The best one I found and that is easy to get into is Torrent Damage. I have RevTT and TorrentBytes which people seem to think are in the same level. For my tastes, Torrent Damage is the best I've found. The staff is friendly. I went to their IRC and followed the instructions. They let me sign up.

A good private tracker stays priv and you won't hear much about them, yet they have an active community, good content/speed/pre-time etc that you would expect from any reputable ones. An example is i*S.

It's really depend what you want or need (Xvid, DVD, TV, etc.)
If you don't care about speed or pre't, there are a lot of good one like Bitsoup, FileList, ILT, and many others.
