OK folks, I'm giving away 2 invites to TheDVDClub.

Here are my stipulations to this giveaway...

Need 2 ratio proofs with todays date on them. I do this just to weed out the people who can't seem to follow rules or directions. You'd be amazed at how many people you can rule out based on this rule alone.
Tell me why you want to be a part of this community. Responses like 'I've been looking for 6 months' probably won't get you very far.
I do not normally deal with traders, so if you are one... save your time and don't ask. Nothing personal, just my way of protecting my invite tree.
I will examine post history when taking into account who I give my invites away to.I will close the thread and update this post once the invites are gone.

Thanks. Enjoy.

Hi. I could use one invite very much.
I like movies...and i prefer better quality, cause i bought a nice lcd couple of weeks ago.
Now i dont even burn divx-es anymore, so i could really make a god use of the site.
Thanx in advance. Proofs are on the way...

I have read reviews on TDC and I was told that the request sections of the tracker is really active. I have a few DVD movies that I haven't seen till this day and would like to make a request to TDC community see if they have it.

The documentary The 11th Hour narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio (http://wip.warnerbros.com/11thhour/)

Also "Lust, Caution" by Ang Lee, and a couple of others that I couldn't find on popular trackers.

From the reviews I also saw TDC is renowned for its DVD-Rs and DVD5s, I believe lots of them contain the full ISO rip that includes bonus scene, special features etc that when you burn to a DVD, it will just run like a full retail DVD. Is that correct? Personally I love bonus scenes and all of those 700mb rips omit such features, and if TDC hosts those full rips, it would mean a world to me if i can obtain them.

Occasionally I use RS and some warez sites release rare copies of DVD movies like The Core (2003), I can upload these to TDC as sometimes they will not be found on most torrent trackers.

If you can consider me as an applicant, I truly appreciate this.

Here are the ratios today

Speedtest today

I use ADSL2+ 24mbit technically but I usually get 900kb per sec download and 100kb per sec upload.

Thanks for your time.

Great, great giveaway.

I am at TDC, and if for any reason I only could keep 5 trackers, no doubt, TDC would be one.
Itīs not the biggest, the fastest, but the staff is really nice and helpful, their collection of DVDr is very respectable, and over all, itīs a honest site, not a business for anybody.
I love TDC, really, hope the winner be a good user, TDC donīt deserve bad users.

I joined TDC right after it went live... only about 500 users at the time. It's a closeknit group. It flies under the radar for the most part... and personally I like it that way.

the majority of the movies that i watch are DVDs. alot of the time this is a problem because all i will be able to find is an xvid of a movie (which i still watch on my computer, just not as often as i watch DVDs). this ends up with me re-encoding to get a dvd (sometimes not even working), that is still so transcoded that it doesn't look great on my big tv, even through my upscaler. if i had access TDC i would use it more than any other tracker probably (and as you can see from my proofs, i give back). please let me enjoy the wonderful quality movies that you do :D
