100% polyester and machine washable...what's not to like?

If they come in this year's kickiest new colors, I'll buy several.

If you're poor and you have a wedding/funeral/job interview to go to, then I think it would be OK

Hoi, it's not only for the poor.

There's the parsimonious to think of as well.

If I was visiting in the UK, I might buy one for the lulz. But in the UK, where people presumably recognize those suits, I'd never put one on for something important. Unless I was going for some serious ironing/protesting/mentalism or something.

Asda suits????????????

Oh my god imagine turning up to a job interview in a Asda suit. Imagine if every one had one. Asda suit clones every where. Shiny plastic suits making the uk dark skies shine.

Oh thankyou WalMart thankyou america.

The price of a men's two-piece suit will drop to £15 at one supermarket chain.

Asda is shaving £10 off the price of its 100% polyester black jacket and trousers.

It expects its stock of 60,000 cut-price suits to get snapped up by cash-strapped customers.

The single-breasted three-buttoned suit's design is inspired by the Milan catwalks, the retailer said.

Fiona Lambert, brand director of Asda's George fashion range, said: "We've tailored the price but not cut on the design quality, meaning that for £15 you can get Savile Row-inspired tailoring at supermarket prices."

The suit usually costs £19 for the jacket and £6 for the trousers.

Its price tag will drop to £15 for both garments from Wednesday until Sunday.

Asda said its low prices were made possible through buying material by the mile instead of by the yard and making savings by economies of scale.

When George offered a similar suit for £19 last year, Asda reported selling the largest amount of tailoring in one week in George's 18-year history.

You rang?

I rather lavishly splashed out on a £30 Primark one. It looks OK, fits well and the polyester coupled with the nylon carpet tiles in the office means I can generate enough static to immobilise anyone who annoys me.

Not that keen on brogues but yes the shoes did cost more than the suit. Feet need to be comfy

+ if I had cheap plastic shoes the static would rise to near lethal levels. I am sure I would fall foul of health and safety rules.

lol. I love the way people go way off-topic here.
Anyways, my brother bought a really nice £15 suit a while back. It was from Peacocks, at Stratford station in London. Maybe it was on offer, I dunno. But from what the Asda people have said it sounds to me that this is really good quality.
