Scan And Ocr Program

Does anyone use a program for their scanner besides the one built into windows xp?

For ocp I use Abbyy finereader pro corporate.
Everything I need is on there and its available free in certain places on the net. :)

Any photo editing software will have the ability to scan pictures in - The actual scanning build should be bundled in with your scanner & its drivers.

OCR though, I use OmniPage Pro 12.0

Yeah, but Im not scanning pictures Im trying to scan into document format and it only allows me to scan in picture formats in xp.

Btw I found that omnipage program but didnt see an evaluation version on their site, but luckily I went to a crack site and got the program and a keygen for omnipage 12 pro. Installing now.
