Emule sucks period. Do yourself a favor if you still want to pool from ED2K users just use Shareaza on windwos or MLDonkey nix based platforms. Emule itself sucks ass and can't compare with other clients even when its main ED2K client.

I would suggest using the extreme edition of emule. Its a mod pack which has an inbuilt ipfilter updater, anti-leech protection and much much more!

Using 0.49b since it was released, still having great luck. I'll probably update to the newer version when I hear the few problems are solved. Can't argue with success, seeing I've found over 8000 files in music (whole cd's). Still looking for about 100 that haven't come up yet. I tried bittorent and couldn't find near what I do here. Old and new.

Delete your current server list, get a trusted one and keep it up-to-date.

As far as I'm concerned, the latest version is the best one.

If you stick to 0.47c, you're missing a lot of improvements (at the advantage of what?), specially in the Kad area.
