View Full Version : Question about free leech on SCT
I thought I remembered a while back, SCT having free leech on a lot of packs.
Do they still?
Are they labeled as such?
I checked about ten different packs but didn't see any labeled as free leech.
I wanted to download The Wire S01 - S03 but not if seeding back 30GB is the cost.
I'd really prefer to download the series in 720p/x264 if someone can locate that, but I guess beggars can't be choosers. :whistling

they only have global freeleech at special periods in the year, they don't label specific torrents as freeleech. After the special time in the year it's off

Skizo i would recommend buying The Wire seasons on dvd, the show is THAT good. David Simon is a genius for what he created. Looks like dragos answered your question already. Skizo you can find The Wire seasons 1-3 on TB. It's free leech all the time.

They are now on a permanent .75 download counter, so you might consider downloading it anyway, as it will be less necessary for you to seed back.
Snatched this during Sct's Xmas FL. Best thing I've downloaded in a long while.
One of those shows where after I'm done watching it, I'll envy those who's just starting it.
TB indeed is your best bet.

Sad too... i was recently in Baltimore Maryland to visit family. The sites and locations they shoot at for the show, are really like that, down in Baltimore. Once again TB.

Don't you do usenet as well? DVDrips are in a.b.multimedia.

I saw those, but they're in XviD, same as the TB ones that were mentioned.
I was really hoping someone could find them in x264. :whistling
DVD rips are available on both tvtorrents.com and tv.torrents.ro

I don't think x264 versions of those seasons even exist, just standard TVrips and DVDrips.
I'd love to be wrong though.:w00t:

The Wire Seasons 1-4 pack is freeleech on tvtorrents.ro. They are xvids though not x264.
As mentioned before it's 0.75 download multiplier on ScT now permanently, so we're never having Free Leech again, time for people to start using those buffers (even if they are "only" 100GB or so)

I barely had any hdd space when sct was doing freeleech. I still managed though, and it also helped me become a PU. So no more FL huh?
Found S01 in HR - 960x528
All other seasons seem to only be standard XviD sizes tho'. :(
