The power went out about an hour ago, and when i turned my computer on the monitor didn't turn on. The computer turns on but nothing on the monitor. I noticed that non of usb is working, and niether is the blue light in front that indicated that the pc is on is on.

EDIT: and niether is the thing you connect the mouse and keyboard to.

Power surge could have fried something when the power came back on if the PC was still on.
Bummer.

Happened to me. Lightning struck in the backyard the computer made a muffled pop noise. I rebooted no screen and USB Controllers were missing in device manager.

When you say the pc turns on, does it POST (that's the beep you hear when you turn it on).

Just from what you said, I'm guessing your motherboard is fried. Possibly your powersupply too. If you have any other PC's, try swapping the PS with another, if that doesn't work... be prepared to install a new motherboard. That's actually pretty easy to do, its just tedious. If you decide to do it yourself, I'll help walk you through it.

OMG! I am ok. The weirdest shit was happening. So like the power went out, then came back on. The computer wasn't working so I played my 360. Then EVERYTHING in the house dimmed. And then 3ROD on my 360 lol. I was like this can't be happening. But then my tv wouldn't come one. Nothing seemed to be working but the low watt lights in the house. Then it hit me, the place wasn't getting enough power. 3 hours later the power was restored and everything works again. :)

Very good to hear.
I've had a power surge take out my TV and cable modem before (computer it's self was on a protected outlet).
