If you go to your "User Control Panel", the second link from the top on the left of the page is titled "Customize Profile".

This will allow you to do all sorts of appearance modifications to your profile page and make it your own.

Has anyone else been playing with this? :)

Don't believe so, but you could use the FF extension called Greasemonkey to create a browser script.

I've never tried it though, so I'm not sure what the difficulty level would be.

you will find it under "customize your profile "

at " primary content areas "

there is a tab named "background image "
pick an image from your album and put its url in the tab and click "save changes"
